''Apamea zeta'' is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It has a Holarctic distribution, and can be found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. It occurs throughout Europe and the northern half of North America.〔(''Apamea zeta''. ) Pacific Northwest Moths.〕 The wingspan is 43–50 mm. The moth is quite variable, but it is often gray-green in color.〔 Adults are on wing from July to August in Britain. The larvae are cutworms that feed on various grasses.
